Dream Android phone 2015

We’ve gone from smartphones with no cameras and basic functions to handsets with QHD displays, octa-core processors and high tech cameras. We’ve come a long way.Yet, even with all these flagships available in the market ,I can’t help but feel like there is no perfect smartphone. Each phone has some flaws. So what if we could pick different parts from current flagships and build the perfect phone. So today is all about the ultimate geek’s phone. Let’s get started.

Galaxy S6 edge has one of the finest screens. It’s a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and a pixel density of 577 ppi. Also the screen curves around the two sides. The screen is  ridiculously sharp and gets very bright. 5.1 inch screen size is not big enough to destruct one hand usage but big enough to consume media.

We all desire a good looking phone. I would go with the design of HTC One M9. Uni-body aluminum design with a two tone color scheme: silver on the front and back with gold on the sides, with those signature front facing stereo Boom Sound speakers.

On the inside we got to have top notch specs. Samsung’s Exynos 7420 SoC has been blowing the competition out of water. It’s a 14 nm octa core processor with the A53 clusters clocked at 1.5 GHz and the A57 clusters at 2.1 GHz and uses a Mali T760MP8 GPU.  4GB of LPDDR4 memory  and 128GB of internal storage should suffice.

LG G4 has a 16 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front facing camera. Equipped with laser focus and OIS G4’s cameras are certainly capable of taking great photos which are sharp and detailed . Also it allows to shoot in RAW

Battery Juice

A phone that’s out of battery has zero features. So we can’t compromise in this area .The Turbo has a 3,900mAh battery, one of the largest I’ve ever seen , which corresponds to around 6-7 hours of screen on time.

Fingerprint Scanner

Apple has been employing a fingerprint scanner  since its iPhone 5s . It’s still the best fingerprint scanning tech in the market and most successfully adopted. Touch ID it is.

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is the most stable android version yet. Though Android M would be sweet.android-m-logo-smaller-w782

Expandable storage. People tend to overlook the storage aspect. In the long run non-expandable storage will not work out for some. Wireless charging, water and dust resistant , USB-C charging port are some of the other features one would love in his phone.

So what did I miss? What do you think ? Let’s hear it in the comments.
